Corrective swimming is a wonderful additional treatment technique for people with musculoskeletal problems, a restorative technique for people who work for prolonged periods of time or who work in a sendentary or standing position, as well as an opportunity for rehabilitation and regeneration for people who actively do sports.

Corrective swimming means special exercises in the water to be performed while staying stationary and while moving, using elements of the swimming technique in order to promote optimal functioning of the musculoskeletal system. The training load, programme and exercises of the classes will be selected, taking into consideration your swimming skills, age, fitness level and the individual characteristics of the participant`s body and spine.

  • reduce and prevent spine deformations;
  • stabilise the spine;
  • develop an optimal muscle core;
  • improve the functions of the musculoskeletal system in the presence of increased muscle tone (hypertonia) or impairments of the amplitude of movement;
  • improve the functioning of the respiratory system; and
  • improve motor coordination.

Corrective swimming is a means of rehabilitation and regeneration in today`s hectic working environment. Corrective swimming classes are given by a qualified professional and experienced female instructor.

At the pool, all the necessary tests are done regularly to make sure that the water quality is in compliance with the requirements of the regulatory enactments of the Republic of Latvia and the European Union and is suitable for ensuring the feeling of comfort of pool users.
